FOR DONIPHAN...EASTERN ATCHISON...CENTRAL BUCHANAN...SOUTHEASTERN
HOLT...NORTHWESTERN PLATTE AND SOUTHWESTERN ANDREW COUNTIES...

At 817 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Wathena to 7 miles south of Elwood to 6 miles
southeast of Rushville, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
St. Joseph, Atchison, Weston, Wathena, Elwood, Troy, Country Club,
Dearborn, Amazonia, Rushville, Fillmore, Lewis And Clark Village,
Doniphan, De Kalb, Iatan, St. Joseph Airport, Faucett, Bean Lake,
Lewis And Clark Vi, and Bendena.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 23 and 48, and between mile
markers 59 and 70.
 Interstate 229 between mile markers 0 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northeastern
Kansas...and northwestern and west central Missouri.
