...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM CDT
FOR ADAIR...NORTHWESTERN CHARITON...EASTERN LINN...EASTERN
SULLIVAN...PUTNAM...SCHUYLER AND NORTHWESTERN MACON COUNTIES...

At 417 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Unionville to near Novinger to 9 miles north of
Bucklin, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Kirksville, Brookfield, Unionville, Lancaster, Green City, Queen
City, Novinger, Greentop, Downing, Greencastle, Brashear, Glenwood,
Gibbs, Millard, Pollock, Worthington, Elmer, Livonia, South Gifford,
and New Boston.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for north central
and northeastern Missouri.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
